Balloons are not just for kids…especially not when you have a creative balloon artist and the innovation of Underwood Events collaborating.

When Direct Supply held their annual holiday party for employees and their families, a contingent of 60 friendly balloon snowmen was there to greet guests. So how did they get there? The client asked UE to help conceptualize and orchestrate parts of the holiday event again this year, with the only request being that it should include a snowman theme. That’s when the magic began to happen!

UE reached out to its preferred vendor, Incredibly Twisted Balloons, to create a sample snowman, and it became the basis for the party’s artwork and marketing, including check-in signage, nametags, and the labels on homemade cupcakes that went home with every guest.

As families entered the expansive room, they immediately saw an army of eight-foot snowmen towering atop the two-sided bar, drawing them into the room. Tables were overlaid with vivid red and crisp white linens and interspersed with miniature versions of the snowmen, peering cheerfully at them with oversized grins.

Acrylic four-sided cocktail tables were also adorned with the image of the snowman and lit from below by LED lights that alternated between the party’s colors of red and turquoise.

When they weren’t enjoying the delicious food items and beverages, families were able to create animated images of themselves in a special photo booth, and even share them immediately on social media! Ole’ St. Nick made his appearance as he does every year, but this time he sat in front of a gorgeous backdrop of white and red Christmas trees – making it a beautiful photo opp.

UE brought in a team of its best “elves,” outfitted in impossible-to-miss red vests, and they greeted and registered guests, and provided direction so party-goers could have a holly, jolly experience at all of the activities planned for them. Everyone agreed that this holiday party was one of the company’s best! UE was grateful to be part of bringing joy to Direct Supply guests once again.
